I've never really been into PC games much. There is one genre of PC game that I've always loved though: the Adventure Genre. Point & Click classics like King's Quest, Space Quest, and others.
Wii U has always seemed like the perfect home for point & click games to me. The gamepad's touchscreen can work just as well as a mouse (if not better). So I'm always happy to hear about a new point & click game coming to Wii U.
A Rite From the Stars by developer Risin' Goat will be coming to the Wii U this year. The game takes place on a dangerous island and centers on Kirm, " a mute kid from the Makoa Tribe" who, according to the kickstarter page "must overcome a rite of passage in order to leave his childhood behind. "
There are three main trials that players will take on and then a final trial. A Rite From the Stars won't have an inventory to manage or send you on pointless walks. The game will be about pointing, clicking, and puzzle solving. It looks like it has a very unique story and will have solid gameplay.
