A Trip Back in Time


Nintendo has had many portables, but the first one they had was the original Gameboy. We had so many games for that system. I think we may even still have some of them. It was a really great system.

Developer Christophe Galati is creating a game that is a tribute to the first Gameboy. Tasukete Tako-San: Save Me Mr. Tako! will be coming to the Wii U. The game uses the same green color palette as the Gameboy and has graphics that make it look like a Gameboy game. Though, with this game, you can change the color palette to different colors (red, blue, etc). Thats pretty cool.

The game is a retro platformer. The player plays as an Octopus and there are several powerups you can find. The octopus character can turn enemies into platforms too! It looks like a really fun game.
