You'll Never Be Alone

Never Alone, by Upper One Games & E-Line Media, is a really unique looking/sounding game. It centers around an young Iñupiat girl and an arctic fox as they go on a journey to find the source of a storm to save everything that they care about. The game will take place in a really harsh environment and you can switch between the two characters or play the game with a friend.

The concept is totally unique and interesting but what really sets this game apart from any other game is that it was developed with the help of the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people. So the story is very faithful to those people and the game will also include many stories from that culture. In fact, stories from the culture will be told along with the game's story & in the native language (there will be subtitles). The game will include videos and other extras that'll let you learn even more about the Iñupiat.

So Never Alone plans to entertain and teach the player about another culture. We rarely see a game that attempts to do something this ambitious.

All that and the graphics in this game look stunning, as you can tell by the pictures I'm including here.

And take a look at this jaw dropping trailer for the game:

Never Alone will be coming to the Wii U in June. It looks really amazing.
