While watching an excellent video about 5 Kickstarter games to look out for on Wii U in 2015, I saw a few Indie games I had never heard of before.
One of those games was Heart Forth, Alicia by developer Alonso Martin, a Metroidvania rpg coming to the Wii U. And wow, does this game look amazing!
Heart Forth has elements of Metroid, Castlevania, and an incredibly beautiful art style. The player will collect all kind of things, like you would in an rpg and be able to upgrade their character & take on sidequests.
Another very, very, very interesting twist is that the game will include a second story parallel to Alicia's. This story will be told via LIVE ACTION FOOTAGE. This is something you just don't see on the Wii U. It sounds like this will make Heart Forth, Alicia a very unique game for the system. Honestly, if I had known about this game befpre, it would have been included on my 2015 can't wait to play list!
